Strong Women Squad Summer Party - SHAKE IT OFF!

You are invited!

I've been working in collaboration with Strong Women Squad and Huhbub to create imagery for their awesome events - The next one is on 16th June. See details below and head to eventbrite HERE for tickets! XXX

We're back!

Following our first event, SWS returns with a Summer Party for our Squad! This time we're running away to the circus at the glorious Trapeze Bar in Shoreditch. Same as before, an awesome dance class followed by lightning talks and performances from amazing women, with the aim of inspiring and empowering amazing women, and a chance to mingle and network afterwards. All fuelled by power woman cocktails and mocktails.

THE SQUAD HAS SPOKEN - the party will open with learning the moves to SHAKE IT OFF!

We have an incredible line-up of strong women so far:

  • Megan Jayne Crabbe of BodyPosiPanda fame – a beautiful, colourful body positivity advocate and Instagram goddess. She’s also the author of Body Positive Power and a contributor for The Unedit, plus a lovely, kind person who is a walking rainbow.

  • Louise Andree Douglas – not only is Louise an incredible dancer who teaches diva and street dancing at City Academy and Evoke, and will be leading our Shake It Off dance workshop at the beginning of the event, she’s also part of a female magician troupe, Chicks N Tricks. A member of the magic circle, she’ll be dazzling us with her slight-of-hand and magical self.

  • Gina Hood – Gina is the President of Bloom UK, a professional network for women in communications which stands for inclusivity, collaboration and individual development. She’s also recently joined creative agency Snap London, a start-up, as Account Director.

  • Kirsten Bayes – Kirsten is the former Liberal Democrat leader for Reading who is now a Local Outreach Coordinator for the Campaign Against Arms Trade. Pro-equality, pro-peace and a trustee for Reading Pride, Kirsten will be talking about women and the arms trade.

  • Samantha Siren – The London Mermaid will be joining us, head to tail, to talk about how her love of the sea and a bit-part in Pirates of the Caribbean led her building her business empire as an entertainer across the capital.

And that’s not all – there are still some more speakers and performers to be confirmed!
